Intro


The Lending BU's Engineering team was preparing a taskforce to perform a major refactoring of the entire loan hiring service. As a design team, we were able to articulate and prioritize some long overdue changes, including the migration to our new design system along with the refactoring.

BU’S Mission: To be the responsible go-to solution for 30mm Brazilians’ financing needs.

What was at stake:

→ 5.1 million customer base. Main challenge of 2021 was growth.

→ most rentable product for Nubank

→ approx. 2.6k loans are hired daily
